Welcome to our little corner on the web. We've created this site to keep our family and friends updated on the happenings of the Nowicki crew. Please have a look around and check back throughout the year. Our Newsletter Well we survived the big move to Virginia or NOVA as they say here. We are getting acclimated to the area and it is starting to feel like home. Brian is really enjoying his new job at Cox Communications. He has about a 45 minute commute on a good day and a 2.5 hour commute on a bad day (DC traffic). He says he doesn't mind because it is the calm before the storm (kids). Jakob is doing really well in preschool. He can spell his name and write it with a little help. His speech is really improving too. He goes to speech at school and also once a week at a private practice here in Stafford. He is really into Superman and Batman. If we want to go out in the evening he tells me no because he doesn't want to miss Batman, Superman. Brianna is my girly, girl. She loves dressing up and playing princess. She is really getting into going shopping with Mom. She is having fun in preschool and has a new best friend every week. Her preschool class is all girls so you can imagine the drama. She is also working on writing the letters of the alphabet. Sofia is growing up so fast. She is talking a mile a minute. She is such a little sister too. She loves to do whatever her big sister and brother are doing. We sometimes forget she is only 2. She really likes building blocks and playing with her weeble house. We are going to start potty training after the holidays. If you ask her if she is a little girl she will tell you no she's a Sofia. I'm doing good. I have been very busy with all the unpacking (finally done) and day to day errands. Brianna goes to preschool in the morning from 9-12 and Jakob goes in the afternoon from 12:15-3:30. So I am pretty much running around all day during the week. I am getting to know the area and getting use to the traffic. I never thought I'd be able to drive on the highways around here but I do okay. I recently joined a moms group out here to make some new friends. We are looking forward to coming back to Michigan for Christmas. We are planning on staying the week between Christmas and New Years so we will have time to visit with family and friends. Thanks for taking the time to read this. May you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! ©2007, http://Nowicki.ToledoRockets.Net! |
